Spring tune up time!!!

Spring time is when most people take their bicycles out of storage and give them that spring tune up. This includes lubricating the chain to maintain proper movement between all the little segments and to prevent the chain from stiffening up.
Your back is no different than the chain on that bicycle. The vertebrae in your back are all connected by a series of joints that allow movement to occur between each vertebra along the entire spine. But how do the joints of the body get lubricated?
The joints in your body contain receptors that detect movement within the joint. When these receptors are stimulated, cells lining the walls of the joint release "synovial fluid" to helps nourish and lubricate the inside of the joint capsule. Chiropractors are experts at using our hands to find area of the spine that are restricted or not moving properly and restoring normal motion. Motion in turn causes the release of synovial fluid that helps to maintain a healthy and well lubricated spine.
So today when you're done fixing up your bike, why not book your spine in for that spring tune up?
Remember, Motion is Lotion!!!
